Blogmas Day Twenty Five: Merry Christmas And Happy Birthday Jesus

Merry Christmas Everyone :) I pray this season finds you happy and healthy, and that you're all surrounded by loved ones as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour! I wish you all the merriest of Christmases, and I want to thank each and every one of you for joining me for Blogmas 2017! My blog is definitely a bright spot in my life, and as 2017 comes to a close, I really want to thank all of you guys for the support you've shown ever since I first started this blog back in September of 2015! I will be taking a short break off of blogging, as I want to enjoy the rest of December with my husband, family and friends, but I will be back with new posts come January, including wrap ups, What I got for Christmas, and possibly a sneak peak into how we celebrated Christmas this year. I'll see you all in the New Year guys! I hope you have an amazing Christmas, and a fabulous end to 2017! I love you all so much :) This is not a sponsored post. All though

Blogmas Day Twenty Four: 5 YA Books I've Just Added to my TBR List!

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!!! It's officially the twenty fourth day of Blogmas, and I'm about to head out the door to head over to my mom's to help her with all the preparations for our family Christmas tonight.  Christmas Eve is probably my favorite day of the entire year, and I can't wait to spend time with my family, reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, eat yummy food, and finally get to give my family their presents.  However, before I do any of that, I wanted to get a blog post up for all of you guys. I really enjoy writing my 5 Inspirational Books I Just Added to my TBR List posts, and I thought for today it would be fun to write a YA one since there's been so many YA books I've added to my TBR list in literally the last few days. Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo: I've been hearing about this book for quite some time, but it's only been recently that I've really really really started wanting to read it. I&#

Blogmas Day Twenty Three: The Christmas Book Blogger Tag

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all excited for Christmas, and I want to thank you for joining me today for Blogmas Day Twenty Three! I was considering doing some type of Christmas traditions post for today's Blogmas, but I stumbled upon The Christmas Book Blogger Tag  that was created by Trish from Between My Lines I thought it not only looked like a really fun tag to do, but it also includes a few questions about how you typically spend Christmas and such, so I thought it would be the perfect post for today. What is your favorite Christmas scene in a book? The scene that definitely comes to mind for this one is from Little Women. I always loved how Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy come to learn the true meaning of Christmas, and how it ends up being one of their most enjoyable holidays after all.  Do you have any Christmas book traditions? Every year I read Debbie Macomber's newest Christmas book sometime during December. I usually read Katherine Spencer's

Blogmas Day Twenty Two: Most Anticipated 2018 Releases

Happy Blogmas Day Twenty Two Everyone :) Blogmas is starting to wind down, Christmas will be here in no time, and honestly, it's going to be 2018 before we know it. I know lots of other Bloggers and Booktubers are starting their 2017 reading wrap ups, but I personally like to wait with them until January. As you never know if you might end up reading a book in the last few days of December that you end up wishing you'd included in those wrap ups. :) However, one thing I really wanted to talk about during Blogmas is the books I'm most excited for that are releasing in 2018. I have a feeling that 2018 is going to be another year that I'm going to be having to restrain myself in a bookstore, as there's so many amazing titles releasing it's crazy. These are the ones I'm most excited for however: Say You'll Remember Me by Katie McGarry: Katie McGarry remains one of my all time favorite authors, and when she'd first started hinting ab

Blogmas Day Twenty One: The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand Review

Happy Blogmas Day Twenty One Everyone :) Can you believe that Christmas is only four days away? I feel I'm in pretty good shape this year, as my shopping and wrapping are done, my baking is almost complete, and I've got my meal plans all figured out, and plan to go grocery shopping later today as well. However, it still seems crazy that Christmas is so close, and that I'm officially into the last few days of Blogmas. It's hard to believe it'll be over for another year in less than a week, so I'm going to try even harder to make these last few posts as good as can possibly be. For today's post, I'd like to share a review for an amazing festive book I finished a couple of days ago. :) The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand: Source: Bought for Myself Publisher: Harper Teen Publication Date: October 24th, 2017 Genre: Young Adult Fiction Synopsis: On Christmas Eve five years ago, Holly was visited by three ghosts

Blogmas Day 20: DITL CP Holiday Train

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I thank you all for joining me today for Blogmas Day Twenty! I always like to try and include at least one Day In The Life post during Blogmas, as I think it's fun to get a sneak peak into the way everyone celebrates during the festivities. This past Sunday I had a lot of fun Christmas events going on, and so I thought it would be the perfect DITL post for this year's Blogmas series. Sunday was our city's turn for the CP Holiday Train to stop, and since for the first time ever they were scheduled for a weekend, I could actually attend this year. In the thirteen years they've been running it for, this was only my third time going, as usually it ends up scheduled for a Tuesday or Wednesday lunch hour, and I'm generally always working. After hearing that Terri Clark was one of the performers this year, I knew I definitely wanted to attend. If you've never heard of this particular event before, e

Blogmas Day Nineteen: What I Included In My #TBTBSANTA Box

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I thank you all for joining me today for the nineteenth day of Blogmas: I've been wanting to share with you all what I included in my Broke and Bookish Secret Santa box this year, but I wanted to wait until I knew for sure that my person opened it, just in case I ended up spoiling something for them through this post. She ended up opening everything a couple of days ago, and so I can now definitely go ahead and share with all of you guys what I included in my box this year. I won't be sharing who my person was, as she doesn't have a blog, and I don't want to include her social medias in case she's not comfortable with me doing so, but she seems like a really sweet person, and I had a lot of fun putting together her package from the info she included in her questionnaire.  This is the whole picture of everything I ended up including this year. For books I went with:  Replica by Lauren

Blogmas Day Eighteen: A Cliche Christmas by Nicole Deese Review

Welcome everyone to the eighteenth day of Blogmas :) This past weekend I was blessed to have had both Saturday and Sunday off, and I had a fun weekend with my friends and family, and actually had some time to catch up on writing blog posts, getting housework done, wrapping presents and baking cookies. I finally had the time to type up a review for a book that I finished near the start of December, and that's the review I'm excited to share with all of you today. A Cliche Christmas by Nicole Deese: Source: Purchased for myself Publisher: Waterfall Press Publication Date: October 7th, 2014 Genre: Inspirational Fiction/Contemporary Romance Synopsis: Writing happy endings is easy. Living one is the hard part. Georgia Cole—known in Hollywood as the “Holiday Goddess”—has made a name for herself writing heartwarming screenplays chock-full of Christmas clichĂ©s, but she has yet to experience the true magic of the season. So, when her eccentric grandmother volunt

Blogmas Day Seventeen: The Guilty Reader Book Tag

Welcome to the seventeenth day of Blogmas guys! I know it hasn't been that long since I last posted a book tag, but I stumbled upon the Guilty Reader book tag a couple of days ago, and I was too excited about it to wait to post it until later. This fun tag was created by IsthatChami on Youtube, and you can check out her original video here.  So let's go ahead and see just how much of a guilty reader I am. Have you ever regifted a book that you've been given? Yes! Multiple times actually but not in a bad way. If I end up receiving more than one copy of a book for Christmas or my birthday or such usually instead of returning it I'll pass it along to a friend. So yes I've definitely regifted books before. Have you ever said you've read a book when you haven't? I was really thinking on this one, and honestly I don't think I have. I always actually read the books we were supposed to in school or whatnot, and if someone asks me if I'v
