Hello Everyone! Thanks so much for joining me today on the Preppy Book Princess :) 2017 has been a year where I haven't truly shared too many book hauls on my blog, and that's honestly because I haven't bought that many books. In the last few days however, I finally used one of the Itunes gift cards I was given for Christmas, and I purchased some new ebooks that have been on my wishlist for quite some time. I've never done an ebook haul before, and so I'm excited to get to do one on my blog today. A Home For Christmas by Kimberly Rae Jordan: My first purchase was the seventh and final novel in Kimberly Rae Jordan's Home To Collingsworth series, and this one was actually the main reason I decided to buy books in the first place. Happy Wednesday Guys! I hope you're all having a great week so far, and I thank you once again for joining me today on the preppy book princess for another book review. It's actually been quite awhile since I last reviewed a YA book on my blog, which is a tad odd for me as it's one of my favorite genres, and I definitely decided today was the day to remedy that. I know a lot of people are familiar with Rebecca Serle's novel, Famous In Love, as not only was it a widely popular publication, it was also recently adapted into a TV show by ABC Spark. However, her earlier books don't seem to have quite the same buzz about them, and I personally preferred the one I'm reviewing today, The Edge Of Falling, to Famous In Love, although I didn't personally love love either of them. His Eyes by Renee Carter My rating: 3 of 5 stars I was honestly highly anticipating this adorable sounding contemporary by Renee Carter. A YA novel with a blind male protagonist is not something I'd personally read before, and as such, this book intrigued me, and had been on my TBR list for quite some time. I definitely ended up enjoying it overall, as I found myself liking both main characters, and their quirky personalities. In particular, I love how Amy is able to see past Tristan's disability right from the start, and is truly the first person to encourage him back on the path to living his life. However, I felt it was a tad too short, and I was disappointed that the reader doesn't truly get much of a feel for the relationship developing between Amy and Tristan. As well, I felt the character of Lexus was massively overdone, and didn't really seem believable. It was overall definitely still an enjoyable, quick, read, and I adored the ending. I only

Hey Guys! Thanks So Much For Joining Me Today On The Preppy Book Princess :) How's everyone's week been so far? I hope you're all taking time to enjoy the last few days of summer, and looking forward to fall as much as I am. Honest to goodness my favorite time period of the year is September through December. I love fall, and everything that comes along with it, and Christmas,  is of course my favorite favorite time of the year. I saw a few days ago on Instagram that Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas is less than six weeks away, and I couldn't be more excited as I'm Hallmark movie obsessed, especially when it comes to their Christmas movies. I really admire and value the fact that Hallmark continues to produce content that's suitable for the entire family, and as such, they've become my absolute favorite channel to watch.  Of course, since here in Canada we don't get the Hallmark channel, I have to watch them when they air on ot

Hello Everyone! Welcome Back To The Preppy Book Princess. I can't believe it's already almost the end of August, and that soon my most favorite season of all will be upon us. There's so many fall themed books I can't wait to dive into, and then of course, I can't wait to read the amazing sounding Christmas books releasing later this year. I've been blessed this month with loving most of the books I've picked up, with the occasional exception of course, and today I'd like to share a new review of a book I recently finished and highly enjoyed. Happy Friday Guys :) I'm so excited you're all joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess, and as always, I can't wait to talk books with you all. :) I had mentioned in a previous blog post just how badly I had wanted to attend The Christian Fiction Reader's Retreat in Ohio this year, but sadly the dates just didn't work for me to go. As it was last Saturday, August 12th, I pretty much spent that whole day after work following the hashtag on Instagram and Twitter to see the amazing time that all the attendees were having. Happy Wednesday Everyone :) Can you believe it's already the second week of August? Like literally summer is so close to coming to an end, and while that partly makes me happy as fall is by far my favorite season, it also makes me somewhat sad. For the last few years I have to admit that summer and I have not been friends. Work's always crazy busy and thus it's hard to find time to do anything, we usually have our big fall Disney trip coming up so we're focused on saving money for that, and the weather is also not always cooperative.
