Fall for You by Cecilia Gray Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. Last week I finally got around to reading a book that I had purchased on my Kobo years ago, and once I finished it I knew I wanted to talk about it with all of you guys here on my blog. I especially like showcasing self-published titles on my blog when I read them, as I know they often don't get as much love and attention as their mass published counterparts do. Since Fall for You is an example of one such title, it was definitely one I wanted to review once I finished it. Fall for You by Cecilia Gray: Source: Bought for myself Publisher: Gray Life, LLC. Publication Date: February 10th, 2012 Genre: Young Adult/Contemporary/Retelling Synopsis: Dive into the fabulous, fun lives of six Academy girls as their friendships are tested, torn and ultimately triumph… To say Lizzie and Dante are polar opposites is the under

Unleashing Mr Darcy Hallmark Movie Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. A couple of weeks ago I was a bit under the weather with a nasty virus that had been going around work, and I ended up watching a few Hallmark movies. Watching Hallmark movies is pretty much my favorite thing to do whenever I'm sick, and I realized it's been a really long time since I last posted a review of one. So today I'd like to share with you all a quick review of a new all time favorite for me, Unleashing Mr Darcy. I was definitely intrigued by this one, as I love Pride and Prejudice,  and let me tell you that it definitely did not disappoint. There's a sequel coming to the Hallmark channel in June, titled Marrying Mr. Darcy, and so today seemed like the perfect day to post my review of the first movie. Unleashing Mr. Darcy: Synopsis: In this modern day spin on “Pride & Prejudice,” Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby),

Favorite Time Travel Novels

Happy Monday Everyone :) I hope you all had a great weekend, and I want to thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. I've mentioned quite a few times before on my blog that I'm a huge fan of time travel novels. There's just something so mysterious and compelling about a book that focuses around time travel, and I've read quite a few of these type of novels over the last few years. I participated in a Top 5 Wednesday topic a couple of years ago on my favorite time travel novels, which you can find here . However, I haven't ever done a recommendations post on this topic besides that, and so today I decided it's definitely time to rectify that. So without further adieu, here's some more of my all time favorite time travel novels: Waterfall by Lisa T Bergen: Waterfall is a book I've only read recently, but it's already become a new favorite of mine. I love the story, the setting of medieval Italy, the swoon worthy

Happy Friday Guys! I hope you're all as excited for the weekend as I am. Amidst all the work stress though, I did get a chance to read the second book in Lisa T Bergen's River of Time series. If you read my review of the first book in the series here,  then you would remember that I'd loved it, and was really looking forward to reading the second book. Today I'd like to share with you all whether or not I thought the second book lived up to all the expectations I had for it! Anomaly by Krista McGee Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. Anyone who's been reading my blog for awhile knows that I'm usually a pretty big fan of young adult dystopian novels. For some reason they just really appeal to me, and I've read some pretty amazing ones over the last few years. However, I haven't had the privilege to read too many inspirational dystopian young adult novels. So I was really excited when I discovered Anomaly by Krista McGee a couple of years ago. I'd previously read First Date, Starring Me, and Right Where I Belong by this author, all of which I'd enjoyed, so I was definitely looking forward to diving right into Anomaly. Unfortunately it took me until now to get on with reading it, but alas, I finally did, and now I'd like to share what my thoughts were on it with all of you guys. 5 Inspirational Reads I Just Added To My TBR #5

Happy Monday Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I wanna thank you for joining me here today on The Preppy Book Princess. I realized last week that it's been a few months since I lasted posted a "5 Inspirational Reads I Just Added To My Tbr List Post", and so it's definitely time to do an updated one, especially since I've added quite a few to my list in the last couple of months. Life Just Got Real by Sadie Robertson: I've mentioned before that I don't very often read many celebrity's books, as they're usually just not my thing. However, I recently completed a devotional by Sadie Robertson on YouVersion, and it really spoke to me, and my heart. I'm really interested in reading more by her, and her only fictional novel sounds really enjoyable, and like something that would interest me. Live Fearless: A Call To Power, Passion and Purpose by Sadie Robertson: The devotional that I mentioned above was taken from th

Spring Brides by Rachel Hauck, Lenora Worth and Meg Moseley Review

Happy Friday Guys :) I wanna thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. I wanna be honest with you all, and share that some of the darkness in the world has been getting me down the last few weeks. There's so much hate, and hurt, and evil out there, and I knew I needed to set aside some extra time to truly revel in God's word this month, as that's the only place that can help with all this hurt. One of the ways I like to encourage myself during times like this is reading inspirational fiction books. And that's why during the month of March I've kept my TBR list to primarily Christian books. This has definitely been the right decision for me, as I've read so many amazing books that have helped strengthen my faith, and as always, I love that Christian reads are generally clean reads that I don't have to weed out objectionable content in. That being said, I will definitely still continue to read non-Christian books as well, includi
